May 20, 2008 – 10:42 pmLots of people have asked me if there’s a book they can read to better understand the performance analysis side of baseball. I figured I would post this to the blog:
Baseball Between The Numbers is the best book to pick up and read. The chapters are short and you can either tackle it all in one day, or take a few months as you enjoy the selections. It comes from the folks over at Baseball Prospectus, which is a great website to check out as well.
Never fear, more updates are coming (tonight!) - I’ll see if I can do some work on Phil Hughes, despite it being beat to death!
